ABOUT

WHO WE ARE

ZAMURA FEEDS

Zamura Feeds is Rwanda’s leading manufacturer of animal feeds. As a full service livestock feed production company, our objective is to provide farmers access to high quality, affordable feeds in order to increase their egg, dairy, and meat production yields. This is not only important for helping farmers grow their business but to provide adequate nutrition to the population served. Currently, our state of the art mill produces seven types of animal feed for chickens, pigs, and dairy cows.

OUR CUSTOMERS

Zamura’s 40 MT/day capacity feed processing plant currently serves hundreds of successful poultry, pig, and dairy farmers. Our ever growing number of customers is a testament to the cost efficiency of using properly formulated feed to maximize output. Zamura Feeds currently services four sales channels: commercial farms, cooperatives, household consumers and milk collection centers. Customers in all sales channels receive feed products from the headquarters in Musanze District or from Zamura Feed distributors and storage facilities around the country.

ZAMURA FARM

This is a 12,000 layer bird farm in Musanze District owned and managed by Zamura Feeds. The success of the farm has proven that our feeds are a key input in making farms successful. The farm’s 9,000 eggs a day are supplied on the local market, on the cross-border/export market and, above all, supplied into the Egg A Day Program supporting school children in Rwanda's Northern Province..

ZAMURA QUALITY ANALYSIS LAB

Zamura Feeds has also established a quality analysis laboratory to control our quality. This independent business formed under the umbrella of Zamura Feeds is capable of wet-chemistry analyses to determine up to 12 different parameters on feed, grain, grain by-products, agro-food items, dairy, and water. With increased capacity, the lab will also be able to do run tests on soil for quality and composition. The lab ensures the quality of our raw materials and final products but also contributes to the modernization of Rwanda’s agro-food sector.
